SHORT & LONG TERM RENTAL

Rapid Creek Markets offer both SHORT & LONG TERM rentals. Whether you need a stall for a day, weekend, or more, the price and process are the same (see prices section for full details).

Who Rents Short Term

Short Term rental is a perfect way to showcase your business, sell excess stock, demonstrate a new product, test a new business, sell a bulk purchase, hand out product samples and get customer feedback.

Who Rents Long Term

Many of our current traders have been here for years, and most started off by renting a stall short term. After testing the market, identifying the best products and realising the exceptional retail value of our stalls, they have become regular fixtures at Rapid Creek Markets.

Changing from Short Term to Long Term

Going from a Short Term to a Long Term trader is easy, because you’re always given first right of refusal. Should you decide you no longer need your stall, you simply stop renewing it and it will automatically go back on the rental list Monday morning.

PRODUCTS WE LOVE

We love products that are a little different from what you may find at a regular shopping centre. We want our customers to be excited, amused and inspired by the products on offer. That’s what keeps them coming back again and again.

Unique Items

We look for creativity in stallholders and welcome unique creations from fashion designers, hobbyists, craftsmen and artists.

Bargains

Our customers love a bargain! Products that represent great value are always popular. However it is paramount that the cheapness of a product does not compromise on quality. Rapid Creek Markets does not want to be associated with low-grade, sub-standard products.

Second-Hand Goods

Second-hand clothing, furniture and bric-a-brac are always of special interest to our shoppers, which makes it a great way to earn extra income. As they say, one person’s trash is another person’s treasure!

What May Not Be Sold

One of the main attractions of Rapid Creek Markets is the diversity and uniqueness of the products available, so we try not to restrict the range of goods and services you can offer. That said, there are some items we must restrict.

Restricted items can include but are not limited to:
• Illegal or offensive products
• Products that infringe a manufacturer’s copyright
Selling Food

Packaged foods are welcome to be sold at the market. Items such as cakes, biscuits, honey, jams, coffee beans, teas and any interesting gourmet products that offer our customers something deliciously different. Low risk food items are also accepted (such as popcorn and fairy floss) subject to their method of preparation meeting the appropriate health requirements.
